Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole

(The Brockhole Visitor Centre was a favourite place for our family when the children were younger: the adventure playground was a 'must' - and we also had a brief try at some dry stone walling on one occasion!)
The Lake District visitor centre provides visitors with all the information and help you need to enjoy and appreciate England's largest National Park and have a fantastic family holiday in the Lake District. The centre has regular events and there are various activities for children, plus an adventure playground.

Low Sizergh Barn

Ruskin Museum
There has been a Ruskin Museum in Coniston since 1901. The museum has a Ruskin collection, they also have coppermines, slate, geology, lace, farming and Donald Campbell exhibitions. This is an interesting and educational stop on your holiday in the Lake District.
